People moves: Schroders, Altum Group, and Tyndall

Schroders has announced the appointment of Dan Morris as head of investment.

The appointment seeks to support Schroders’ delivery of bespoke client solutions across public markets at scale. Morris previously worked at Schroders and will return to the firm, reporting to group chief investment officer, Johanna Kyrklund. He brings experience in quantitative investing, client-focused solutions and the development of scalable technology platforms, and most recently worked as chief investment officer, systematic investments, at Allspring Global Investments. In this new role, Morris will be responsible for bringing together Schroders’ capabilities in active management to transform how the firm scales their delivery into bespoke client solutions through its operating and technology platform.

International fund, corporate, and family office solutions provider Altum Group has named Annabelle Bishop as family office client director.

Bishop brings more than 20 years of experience in wealth management to the role. She specialises in the management and administration of complex structures for international high net worth and ultra high net worth clients, and their families, dealing with multiple asset classes with a global reach. Prior to joining Altum, Bishop worked in private banking within the fiduciary services sector. She is a full member of STEP, an affiliate of CGIUKI, and holds an IoD Certificate in company direction. At Altum, Bishop will work closely with clients and liaise with intermediaries to provide strategic guidance and meet clients’ needs.

Boutique wealth and fund manager Tyndall Investment Management has appointed Oliver Pile as investment director in its private client practice.

Pile has over 20 years of investment experience focused on managing private client portfolios. His appointment brings Tyndall’s dedicated private clients team to 30. Pile joins Tyndall from Ruffer LLP, where he was a director in the firm’s private wealth division, managing portfolios on behalf of private clients, charities, trusts and family offices, having joined the firm in 2009 as an investment manager. Prior to this, he spent three years as an investment manager at Gillespie Macandrew.
